In Anadia, on the day of the Ascension of the Lord, there was a tradition of a pilgrimage to Buçaco, passing through the fields and picking flowers to make crowns that the girls wore on their heads. A mix of sacred with roots in pagan traditions, to celebrate these days. | This "dia da espiga" walk begins with a branch that we make up through the floodplains of Moita, Alfeloas, Arcos and Anadia where we will discover the culture that we find in the local museums . We go up to Monte Crasto to admire the landscape and we went down to the cellars and cellars. We visit religious monuments and urban art and we hear legends, thousands of years old, about this region and its people. |
