Leaving the Virgin Peregrina church, in Pontevedra, we pass by the Poio monastery and, already along the coast, through Combarro to Sanxenxo. We continue along this coast lined with coves and monuments, through A Lanzada, Eirexe and, in Cambados, we pass San Sadurniño tower to Vilanova de Arousa where we carry out the "translatio" by boat along the Ulla river, passing by the "torres de Oeste" of Catoira until we reach Pontecesures and Padrón. At the end of our route, already on the Portuguese way, we continue along Iria Flavia, Esclavitude, Teo, passing by Milhadoiro where we can already see the cathedral towers, final destination. Obradoiro square welcomes us before entering the cathedral where, next to the tomb of the Apostle James, we end our journey. | |
