Starting by the Mondego river, we visit the "Baixa", the Church of St.ª Cruz and the tomb of D. Afonso Henriques. We climb the "Mermaid Garden" to the Penedo da Saudade, then go down to the Botanical Garden and the University. On the other margin, we pass by the Qt.ª das Lágrimas and go up to the monastery of Santa Clara, go down to the convent of S. Francisco, pass the "Portugal dos pequenitos" and end this walk at the monastery of St.ª Clara a Velha with a toast of honour. |
