We begin the walk with a visit to the Roman city of Ammaia. We continue through the ash tunnel of São Salvador da Aramenha to "Petiscos da Olga" for an Alentejo snack before discovering the Roman ovens and gutters of Escusa. We continue along the Roman bridge over the Ribeira das Troutas until we reach Portagem, where we cross the Sever River, near the river beach, on the medieval bridge that gave the town its name. Taking the transfer to Marvão, we will visit the citadel, the castle and end our itinerary by participating in the Chestnut Fair by Marvão.
