The Experience
On this hike through the "Magic Mountains", we traverse the backbone of Castro Daire, uniting trails to celebrate Summer and feel the pure breeze blowing over the summits.
We make this journey a photo-tourism route dedicated to "Mountain Fragments", where altitude offers us unique light and clarity.
Between Moura Morta and Lamelas, we follow the Vidoeiro river, visit the Pombeira waterfall, and pass by traditional stepping stones and meadows, while granite leads us through watermills and Roman bridges in these mountain villages where Arouquesa cattle grazing is a common sight.
We also hike a section of the new Interior Portuguese Way to Santiago de Compostela, in a route where contact with the pure air and the mountain's freedom renews both body and spirit.
