Leaving Curia, we walk through vineyards, historical caves and cellars, scenic viewpoints and old windmills, passing by Paço de Óis on what is believed to be the ancient Roman road Bracara-Olisipo. The timeless Curia Termas (thermal spa) and the majestic Palace Hotel stand as remarkable landmarks of history and architecture. We also pass by the "Rota da Bairrada" space for a glimpse into the rich variety of wines crafted across the entire region. In the middle of August, the heart of our journey is the “Sparkling Wine and Suckling Pig Festival” in Curia, the perfect opportunity to experience the true essence of local folk celebrations. To finish, we toast with a flute of authentic Bairrada, of course!
