Hiking Experience
Starting from the Roman city of Conimbriga, we begin our route through the Sicó Mountains via the Rio dos Mouros boardwalks, where, depending on the water flow, we can admire its waterfall in full splendor.
Along the way, we are surrounded by rich fauna, flora, and geology. This ancient path is now shared with the Way of Saint James (Caminhos de Santiago), the Fatima Ways, and the Carmelite Route, linking spirituality to nature.
Upon reaching Rabaçal, we visit the Roman Villa and conclude the hike with a tasting of the certified Rabaçal PDO Cheese.
Cultural Experience – Special Edition
We have created an exclusive journey for May 3rd, with direct transport from Curia. This is an invitation to immerse yourself in a day dedicated to living history and to explore the Roman and Cheese Market.
Integrated Experiences (May 3rd Special Edition)
To celebrate this unique date, each participant can choose their own pace without losing the group spirit.
The journey begins with a visit to Conimbriga, diving into the region's Roman origins. From here, the group divides according to preference: hiking enthusiasts set off on foot towards Rabaçal, while the others travel to the heart of the Roman and Cheese Market.
The meeting point will be in Rabaçal, where we will visit the Roman Villa, immerse ourselves in the festivities, and conclude our activity with the traditional final toast.
