Spring Equinox
At the beginning of spring, the Montemuro mountain range transforms into a flowery carpet. We hiked through these landscapes to explore two trails in Castro Daire, taking the opportunity to photograph some of the most beautiful mountain flowers, including the wild orchid. Two routes of scenic, cultural, and environmental interest between Moura Morta and Lamelas, in this "magical mountain".

On this hike through the "magic mountains" we combined two trails in Castro Daire to discover and celebrate Spring, making it a phototourism route for discovering wild orchids. Between Moura Morta and Lamelas, we followed the Vidoeiro river, visited the Pombeira waterfall, passed through stepping stones and meadows, and encountered mills and Roman bridges in these mountain villages where we find Arouquesa breed cattle. We also hiked a bit of the new inland Portuguese route to Santiago.
