At the end of winter, nature offers us the spectacle of almond trees blooming throughout the Ribacôa region. The village of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo is known for being the queen of almond blossom and we are going to visit there to see it.

On these cultural trips we will discover the landscapes of Ribacôa that are full of almond trees in bloom. We will visit the historic village of Castelo Rodrigo, the top of the Marofa mountain range and, in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo we will visit the Interpretative Centre of the Battle of Castelo Rodrigo before entering the almond blossom queen's party.
