On the 26th and 27th of April we will celebrate Rabaçal cheese and the Roman presence in central Portugal with a hike
through the Sicó de Conimbriga mountain range to Rabaçal.
On May 1st we will pick "portuguese broom" flower to recreate the tradition of decorating windows and doors with these yellow flowers. Tradition and culture
of an ancestral rite linked to the fertility of the fields and the beginning of spring, to discover while we follow the coat of arms route, in
Mogofores.
Spring offers us a palette of colors and we go to the Mondego Walkways to witness this gift, daily, from May 6th to 11th, from Videmonte to the Caldeirão
dam. So much to feel, see and smell on these walks.
On March 2nd, with the promise of a sunny day, we went to Foz Côa to see the almond trees in bloom, watch the ethnographic parade and shop at the almond market.
We started at the Côa Museum and the rock art there, then... well... then came the adventure part of the walk and the city, the only thing missing was snow... The memories of
this route and this day remain.
